an need motor found a 95 5.9. will
this fit with no major problems

If both are 5.9 (360 CI) engines, then yes it should fit. You will need to use all of the accessories from the original engine.

Check out this site for lots of info on Dodge and RAM trucks: https://www.allpar.com/model/ram/ It lists the differences in horsepower in the older and newer engines.

In order for this engine to start, the ring tone on the crankshaft would need to be replaced to the year truck you have. The crank shaft would have to come out to replace. Please investigate the differences in the ring tones between these two engines. But yes the engine can go into the vehicle.
