Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have some electrical issues with my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. I am not sure if they are
related but I will list them all in case.
1. Passanger low beam not working, high beam does. All other lights work normally.
Cleaned contacts and replaced bulb but this did not correct issue.
2. Air Bag light comes on every now and then, totally random. Had my mechanic look
and get the code but he and the dealership said they didn't know what the code was.
Unfortunately I lost where I wrote down the code.
3. Ocassionally check engine light comes on but my mechanic couldn't find an issue,
this has been going on for years, ever sense the engine got a valve job by the
dealership with only 10K miles on it.

Wow, I hope that did the valve job under warranty, probably a bad head from factory. No way it should need a valve job@ 10k/ Ok, on some cars, like my Toyota, there is a fuse for each side of headlights, left and right, high and low. I don't know if your Dodge has that, I downloaded the owners manual but it has a very poor chapter on fuses, not even a lay-out map. Just a thought. And when the dealer telly you he doesn't know what the code is, what it means, THAT sounds like he was trying to shoo you away, get rid of you. He can look them up. I can look them up myself from my computer for that matter, not difficult. Sometime the CEL, Check Engine, will light if you didn't tighten your gas cap. Loose or missing gas caps are the #1 reason a CEL lights. And I agree, all unrelated.
