Asked by Teaccya Jul 28, 2019 at 10:30 PM about the 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving my truck yesterday and all of a
sudden it just stopped. Tried to start it and it
just crank but would not start. Tried to start
it just cranked over and would not start.
After it's sat for a while it started back up
again. I made it home parked it went out this
morning to start it just crank over. There
was nothing showing on my Volt or fuel
gauge on the dash. And the overhead
display fuel gauge showed a flatline. Site for
about 5 hours and the vehicle fired up.

see if fuel pump has power/ground . Check fuel pump relays , there may be two . When you hit the key it primes the system once it starts it powers the fuel pump , there's two circuits . Your experience may differ .
