Does it have enough fluid in it? Check in neutral with engine running after running the gear selector through all the ranges stopping at neutral. Another common problem is when the filter is too close to the bottom of the pan. You'll need to drop the pan to measure this. With a straightedge across the bottom of the filter measure to the gasket surface of the transmission. Then measure from the bottom of the pan to the gasket surface. The difference is the open area between pan and filter. If this is less than a quarter inch, its too close. Good Luck!
