Check gauge goes on / off

Asked by Cope Jul 23, 2017 at 04:07 PM about the 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Plus Quad Cab 4WD

Oil is full. It started while having the truck idle for 20 minutes with AC running.
Drove a bit at 70 mph, it went off til stopped at a light. Now is going on and off.
Will this effect the engine in anyway.

one or more of your gauges is indicating something out of the ordinary =??
