I'm driving a 2002 Dodge ram truck. 130,000 miles. I think some thing with transmission is going down.

Asked by Kkc044 Nov 18, 2014 at 10:42 AM about the 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Plus Quad Cab LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First I am a grandma taking grand kids to school. I just made a road trip 650 miles to
Auburn Al. The last 2 days the engine really jolts when slowing down to 20 miles a hour
and today the engine light came on and stayed on. It has been really cold the last 2 days.
Does that have anything to do with it. What should I do?

I think you should,go have it scanned at autozone or advance, for free, this would help narrow the issue down, and yes cool weather will make bad plug,s skip worse, and all so mess with sensor,s,,hard to say what the issue is,without having the code,s,,,go have it scanned, and if they can not tell you the issue, bring the code,s back here, and post a new question with them, and someone here if not myself will tell you what is wrong.
