Just bought a 2000 dodge 1500 and my windshield wipers don't work. Checked fuse and relay, they appear fine. Anyone know if there is a common condition I can check? Thanks.

The wipers only work on one speed setting and do not return to the 'rest' position when turned off. I have replaced the wiper motor and the column switch. All other column switch controls work.
