why is there gas in my engine oil

I had gas in my oil a year ago then it stopped. It has started back up again. The first time it lasted about three months. All I did was just change the oil. What could be causing this.

I have a 1995 Dodge ram doing that now. Getting about 2miles to the gallon. Dumps gas in engine running or not running.
