How to convert a 2001 dodge 1500 4x4 to 4x2

Install a 2wd transmission to eliminate the transfer case. You will need the correct driveshaft. To remove the front axle and install a 2WD front suspension will be a lot more work. I advise you buy a 2WD truck.
