Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my pcm was making my car die at random I
could undo the battery or pI'll out the starter
relay and sometimes it would start back up
with no problem so I got a junkyard pcm out
of a 99 5.9 and it starts up fine without
dying but I have a check engine light Trans
temp light and overdrive off what should I
do its running.fine though

Go to dealer and have them reprogram the pcm using the vin.number to match your truck.

Different set up on the truck you got it off of is all. I did same thing, different ABS setup is kicking abs light and I don't have an electric fan so it says I have a defective one. Google it, you can send yours off for 111.00 to be repaired, run the one you have in the meantime.
