I have a 2000 dodge 1500 4x4 autowill not shift up until you put in netrual and back into gear then sometimes it still wont shift and when it finally shifts it trys to shift back and forth and shutters but does a little better when cold i have changed fluid and filter

mmmm, check the fluid level HOT in park with the engine running...should be between the two marks in the knurled zone...should be cherry red (never brown) and the correct level...if not correct am going to suggest you grab a tissue and follow the automatic transmission coolant lines transmission to radiator to find a leaker at the radiator (rubber joiner is bad usually)~
