I have this same problem with my 2001 dodge ram sport power on all three wires with the lights unpluged no brights just dims. when i switch the lights on ground appears on one wire and jumps to the outer wire when the brights are switched on. the problem is each plug is wired differently and the harness has been all hacked up. I really need a schematic to figure this pos out but finding a good schematic on google is a shit show every year of ram except mine grr
