1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Electrical Issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 has an issue that I cannot diagnose with any
information that I try to find online.  My left turn signal blinks rapidly, but it is
not a faulty bulb, I have replaced both the front and back bulbs.  The left turn
signal also comes on solid without blinking when I turn on my headlights.
The turn signal while on solid when the lights are on, is not on in the front or
the rear outside the cab, and it also will blink  when I turn the indicator on.

Also the front left turn signal light will sometimes come on and stay on even
when I turn off the truck, take the key out, and even take out the flasher
relay.

I'm thinking it's a short in the wiring, does anyone have a suggestion of
where to look?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
