What's wrong with my p.o.s truck?

Asked by Brokeassram119955 May 03, 2020 at 10:29 PM about the 1999 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1999 ram I just swapped motors got everything
hooked up seems to be hooked up correct minus
what I'm assuming is the crank sensor. But when
turning over the ground from the engine to the
body got hot. And there's no power at the coil or
from the coil. At first key turn it said "no bus" and
the fuel pump would not make any noise. Now got
fuel pump and the no bus still pops up every
couple turns of the key. But still no power to or
from the coil. Got no codes on the reader eaither

1 Answer

Wrong engine for your truck? Did not swap in the correct ECU and wiring?
