Don't drive with blinking check engine light. Check your codes that will give you an idea as to what is wrong with it. Post codes back on here and we can help.

harnesses get stretched and vacuum lines snap when the motor is movin' about to dimensions to which is not designed for~ blinkin CEL...ya, I'll buy that~

If the codes are misfire recheck your firing order it is easy to get those mixed up on the right side of the engine

I had the same problem, truck idled kind of rough, when it shifted into overdrive and the converter locked up around 50, the truck would shake hard! I was getting misfire codes for cylinder #4. After replacing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and thinking it was the converter, I decided to look at the injectors. Holy Crap! This truck has never had bad gas in it, I change the fuel filter regularly, but when I pulled the injectors, the inlets were clogged big time with rust and corruption. I pulled off the washers, cleaned out the major stuff with some picks, and soaked them over night in carb cleaner (19.00 at Walmart) blew them out the next morning. (Hint: If you rig up a couple of wires to attach to the battery and the terminals on the injector you can activate/open the injector and blow through it with shop air backwards to clean any left overs) Reinstalled the seals (put a little grease on them to ease installation). BEFORE you reinstall the injectors, turn the key on and off quickly. you will be amazed at the crud that comes out of the fuel rail. You may have to plug all of the holes on the rail but one, one at a time, to get it all out of there. Then reinstall the injectors. Viola! She runs like a new truck, no shuddering, and much more power! I hope this helps someone else before they spend all kinds of money chasing it like I did! Good Luck!
