99 dodge 1500 4x4 5.2

I have a 99 dodge 1500 4x4 5.2. My trans kicked
out of gear and wouldnt go back. I replaced the
trans filter and now it goes into gear but makes a
screeching sounds when stoped. It's shifting rough
or not shifting at all or stalls when stopping.

Is there a good way of trouble shooting to figure the problem out? I've cleaned the pressure switch. And tightened the band's to specs. But still have the same issue.

Need to adjust your transport. Shift cable by the throttle boddy

Get someone to hold your gas petal to the floor and take out all the slack in the cable going to your tranny, you will c a big difference
