Pull off the air cleaner ass'y, open the throttle n look down the throttle body and see if your intake is a swimming pool of oil. This is a design flaw in the Magnum engine intake manifold. The detonation/pinging/rattling is caused by too much oil getting into the intake charge. It will also clog up your catalytic converter, explaining why it might not wanna pick up speed, kinda like she's being strangled. Get a scanner that reads live data as well n get back to me.
