Filler plug on transfercase is stripped, if
I JB weld a bolt in and double nut it will
that work ? Or any other suggestions on
what is needed to dry out and check
after being sunk up to steering wheel in
water, after mud bogging, all new fluids,
but not sure how to get all water out of
transmission and torque converter,
drained it but still that watery pinka bit,
any and all suggestions welcome.

Flooded to the steering wheel ... call your insurance company if you carry comprehensive. If you don't have full coverage then forget that, even calling. But it's probably totaled, a 1998 will cost more than it's worth to fix all the damage of flooding well in to the cabin. That causes more problems than you can imagine, and even if 'fixed' it will never be the same ... especially if it was under for any long period period of time. Don't dump any more money in to a lost cause
