Will a tranmission out of a dodge Durango  
fit in a dodge ram 1500 pick up

If both motors are 4.7 L. Yes. I think it is a 545fre transmission. If one is a 4wd and the other 2wd you will have to swap the cone. You cannot swap transmission from a 4.7 to the Hemi 5.9 or vice versa.
