I pulled my distributer out of my 96 dodge ram 1500 with 5.9 motor then not even thinking turned the crank over to TDC so now i moved the oil pump shaft so how do i line it back up

It is trial and error, a long big screwdriver to put down and turn the shaft that lines up with the bottom of the distributor. Make sure you are on the compression stroke, & TDC when you install the distributor, and the rotor should point to # 1 terminal on the cap.
