I have a 96 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2
bought it a couple months ago so far I've
replaces water pump ,fuel pump and cut
the cats off cause they were clogged so
now I'm running open headers anyway
trucks been running great and all of a
sudden this morning I cranked it up it sat
there and pured like a kitten but as soon as
I hit the gas peddle it bogged down didn't
die just bogged down and I had the feather
the pedal just to get it home

there are a few concerns here~ it relates to air/fuel mix...cat was clogged...because either short trips or the mix is rich~.....a sensor ...perhaps the MAP sensor~

I had my fuel pump die after 2 weeks of running the new one , I replaced it with a quality pump and I am back on the road.
