Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, so a friend of my boyfriend who knows
something about cars came by to look at my
2001 Chevy Malibu ls and told me my car
computer jumped time so he cleared it with
his scanner and now it's running my car was
doing the exact same as everyone else's on
here, it would crank but not enough like it
wasn't getting gas, my first thought was
maybe the gas was bad but according to the
scanner it's my computer. So my ? Is, is this
still a problem even though it's running and
what does it really mean?
