1988 Dodge dies after running

Asked by GuruT5176 Jun 14, 2018 at 03:14 PM about the 1994 Dodge RAM 1500 LT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck dies after running for a little while it is fuel
.I've changed 2 fuel pumps .Thinking I got a bad
one .Changed fuel filter and changed fuel relay
.The only codes that come up are fuel related .That
is caused when the truck starts cutting out .I had
to hit the bottom of the tank to get it working
.Sounds like a second bad fuel pump .About my
luck but may be something else .I even thought of
vapor lock but I haven't seen that in a long time
.Please help before I give this thing to someone
else .I'm thinking of running a in line filter and new
wires to it and bypass every thing as a last resort
