At least on my 97 there are 3 phillip head screws. Two in the bottom and one by the control for the mirrors. Then, there are two torx sized 10 or 15. I can't remember. There is one bolt behind the door latch and another underneath it. Once you start looking it will make sense. Then when all that is out, pull up and out at the same time but be careful with the wiring and the rod connected to the handle to open the door. If you break the little plastic clip thing go to a junk yard get one and put it in when you are reinstalling the panel. Good Luck!
