Can my s10 pass an emissions test if the check engine light occasionally comes on ?

My check engine light occasionally comes on when I turn or accelerate.This does not happen all the time,just sometimes.It stays on for a while then goes off.Will my truck pass an emittissions test if the light is off at the time?

Tom is right on! But also to answer your question, the light means nothing to the inspector. It may cause them to do a more thorough test to read your emissions.

That happend to me some will say as long as it goes off its ok thats not true it will store the code and if u cant delete the code it wont pass
