Left front running light

Asked by GuruBVR2V Dec 21, 2018 at 04:51 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet S-10 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 2002 S-10 pickup.  The left turn indicator light on dash stays on
unless I signal to turn left.  Then it flashes faster than normal.  My emergency
blinkers all work.  The turn indicators all work.  The left front running light does
not come on. I have changed bulbs twice so I don't think it's the bulb.  Right
front running light works fine.

It's not the turn signal light that has the problem. That works (be it a little fast.) It's the other filament in the same bulb that powers the running light. There is also another bulb next to the head light that comes on on the passenger side, but not on the driver's side. I guess I'll start checking fuses tomorrow but I would think that both sets of running lights would be on the same fuse.
