2002 s10 zr2 engine stumbles between 50 and70 MPh in overdrive, rpms between 1800 and 2100

Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.

OK, another problem is that it idles at 500 rpms when in gear and stutters down between 300-400 RPM almost stalling out but doesnt. No engine light. No codes. Thoughts please.
