How to set timing to to TDC on a 2001 4.3 L V6 Chevy S10

To get it on TDC remove the spark plugs and use a ratchet and a socket on the crank nut. Sometime you can just pull on the belt and rotate the engine that way. Be sure and get it on TDC compression. Hold a finger over the #1 plug hole to see if it is blowing air out (compression).
