When you turn A/C on, it adds more load to the engine and turns on the cooling fans. Make sure the cooling fans are actually coming on when A/C is on. If not, check cooling fan fuse, relay, wiring harness and fan motor

Not normal. Are you loosing coolant? Have the system bleed of air, check the cooling fans for radiator working, and if thermostat is stuck, (check for exhaust is cooling system look for air bubbles or test kit, check for coolant in exhaust look for steam or white smoke, if so Head gasket issue.)
