Need help bleeding breaks

Big questions r does the truck have to be
running and do u still bleed the rear drum
breaks?

doesnt need to be running, and yes you have to bleed drum brakes

I also have a 2000 S-10. The correct way to bleed is ,It's best to have an assistant .Make sure your reservoir is full starting at the right front.Open bleeder valve and depress pedal and hold down until bleeder is closed then release.Repeat next on right rear then left rear finally left front. Remember to check fluid level often.
