FUEL SYSTEM PROBLEM

Asked by Layne Apr 11, 2017 at 11:07 AM about the 1995 Chevrolet S-10 LS LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have replaced the fuel pump, fuel strainer, fuel filter, and fuel pump relay.
Yet i still get no fuel to the throttle body itself. i have checked the lines and i
have fuel pumping out of the pump as well as returning. so i have no clue
why the truck wont start and ive already dropped as much money as the
truck is worth into it.

Its always a labor of love when their that old, I have a '95 Silverado. So fuel will not come out of the fuel injectors unless the key is in the start position, and running. Should check to see if there is voltage in the connectors to the 2 injectors, look for broken wire. If all is good there, may want to check the fuel pressure, it should be 9 to 13 lbs. If it is not then the fuel regulator in the TBI would need to be replaced.
