Losing connection on coil wire randomly

Asked by S10lover64 Sep 02, 2018 at 12:23 PM about the 1994 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

94 s10 pickup with a 4.3 tbi. about every couple weeks it won't turn over but you
can push on both ends of coil wire and it will start and run again for another
couple weeks. This is the second coil wire. Coil and cap and rotor are about 6
months old distributor is about a year old ignition module was replaced last
winter. Husband would be glad to fix if we could figure out what problem is.
Also when running across it will die but start back up.dont know if that's
related.help don't want to have to pop the hood and mess with it when winter
comes
