01 Chevy Blazer will not crank

Asked by Theomeek Jan 05, 2017 at 01:40 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Heater core went out. Pulled dash and
replaced. Car ran 2 blocks sluggish and
died. Car would crank but not start.
Replaced distributor and iCM. Found out
that plug wire from iCM was too far out.
Replaced plug wire. Started right up. Drove
for a hour. Next morning, started right up, no
issues. Drove to work (about 20 minutes)
shut it off. Came out 3 hours later and car
will not crank. Battery is brand new and
charged.

Starter relay, bad cables, ignition switch, fuse, are some things to check.
