I'm fixing up a 91 s10 with 2.5l for my son.  Decided to stop for the evening at the crankshaft pulley.  Just wanted to be sure
before I use the impact on it.  Does anyone know for sure if the bolt it reverse or standard thread?

Never use an impact on a crankshaft, or camsharf. The vibrations can cause stress cracks causing the crank to snap under heavy loads. Break it loose before using the impact. As far as I know the crank is standard threads.
