My 91 s10 base model 2wd stndrd. vibrates when trying to accelerate in 5th gear and stops if I lay off the gas could this be something with my tranny? Pls help I need my truck

Check Engine Light. It's a red or yellow light on the dash board. It indicates that there's a trouble code stored in the cars computer.

Not all the time but periodically it comes on then after a hour or so it shuts off except when it rains then it doesn't come on

Tire changed beginning of summer tie rods both sides Wednesday just passed but no alignment recently

That's what I had to do on my 86 Monte Carlo the faster I went the more it shook. Got to 45mph and felt like I was on the river. Got new tires and alignment and been right every since then

The tie rod I put in on the passenger side had failed I replaced it and got the alignment done now she good thnx guys
