2006 honda crv - excessive oil consumption

since last oil change I've had to add 6 quarts of oil, no leaks, no burning smell, just oil that seems to disappear!

If no leaks can be found,the oil may be going out exhaust,check the tail pipe for oil residue.

Yup, if no leaks it is likely going out the tailpipe. Maybe pull the sparkplugs and look at the, also check the PCV valve and hose and consider running a compression test or leak down test while the plugs are out.
