Putting car in time

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If I put the car in time and start it up and it's sputtering
real bad and it will not stay running ??? What should I do
??

Till the up marks were the same on each side. We follow I timing diagram we got ooff the Internet and I forgot to set it back to the number one plug in the Distribitior I did that and it's cranks up but it runs like shit and don't stay running long
