My 1995 Del sol didnt pass the smog test. I've had the carsince 1997 & it now has 205,000 miles on it. Is it time for a whole rebuilt engine or just a fix?

Are you in California, or some other state ? I know CA is very strict about emissions... but here are some things you could look at before engine rebuild or replacement: 1) fuel octane booster (pour it in your gas tank) 2) engine tune-up (replace spark plugs, etc.) 3) replace 02 sensor 4) replace catalytic converter HTH, & love the Sol !
