Trailblazer transmission swap

I have a 2002 trailblazer with the inline six. I
swapped transmissions with a 2005
transmission. I have no movement at all the
shifter shows it going through the gears but
no movement. The shift cable electronics plug
is different and I swapped them so it would
plug in. Is the possibly the reason it won’t go.

If the plugs are different than the transmission is wrong for the vehicle. Compare the tag on the original transmission to the one you have now and I bet they don't match. Going for a used transmission on something like this is a smart move. But the replacement transmission and the original transmission tags have to match or it won't work. Hope that helps! Jim
