06 f250 4x4 won't engauge

hubs will lock in while parked but won't lock in while driving

Are all 4 tires the same diameter? Have you tried the old "back and forth" to get them to engage? Have the hubs ever been disassembled to clean and lubricate the inner workings?

Are the hubs in LOCK or AUTO? I'd just leave them in auto all the time, they'll kick in automatically if the wheels slip, just like an AWD system, saves you from getting out all the time to lock them, unless you're 4-wheelin'.
