no power in my f250

i installed a cd player and amp in my truck got it all done and now i have no power to the truck at all i checked all fuses and didnt unplug anything other than the factory radio i have no idea what to do now

the stereo probably gets power from the computer , check the diagrams , it ain't like it used to be , you may need an interface so you have chimes , two different adapters that should be soldered together , pro shops are helpful , and pricey .

Unplug the wire that goes from battery to starter. Turn key to on position. Take the red line from a set of jumper cables and place a hex wrench into the jaws and hook the other end to the positive post on the truck battery. Take the wire end that leads to the starter and tap the connector thereby starting the truck. Let it run for half a minute then shut it off by turning the key to the off position. Hook the starter lead back together. Now you have cleared your computer and should have no similar issues moving forward.
