Not reading scanner

Asked by GuruXXDTK Oct 17, 2018 at 12:53 AM about the 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat 4WD Crew Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck seems to be generating to much gas which makes
it seem like a misfire, the truck is blowing black smoke & is
running REALLY weak! Changed the fuel pump, checked all
fuses & trying scanning it with the scanner but no
response. Tried several scanners! Please help!

Thank you all. I have not tried any of the above. I'll try them tomorrow and let you know what happens.

Yup, fuse number 3 will be a yellow 20 amp and my guess it is blown. I replaced one at the service drive last week.
