Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good morning all.
I have been trying to fix my truck for the past few weeks.
I changed out battery,  had alternator rebuilt and have a
new pcm. Throws a code p1000. I drove around for 1/2 hr
to try and clear it on it's own. But no luck.
Remote start will  unlock and lock the doors but will not
start the truck.  It preps everything for start but when it
should crank the starter I get nothing.
It's an auto start brand remote start system. Any help is
greatly appreciated.

Yes. When I order it I had to give the vin for program Ing for the correct vehicle. Aa far as I understand. I also had the pcm flashed at the local dealer in hopes it would allow the codes to clear and have everything working again.

well obviously the code relates to the PCM not completing its cycle. I would say it is where it stops its cycle has a problem or wrong PCM double check the PCM to the old one should have the same part number or take the old one in instead of the vin number and ask for the part number for the replacement PCM and check they match the new one.
