truck was running fine then the engine protect came on I pulled over shut truck off it started right back up runs good but a ticking noise started  what happen to my truck? I had truck ck it self it says all ok  but the ticking

wire shorted out going to the CPU put new piece of wire in place of the shorted was and changed cpu
