do you whip around turns? is one wheel cockied and the strate? is the top of the wheel pitchin in?

Check your pressure first. Go to your local tire shop and ask for what's called a ROAD FORCE BALANCE. Most shops with semi modern equipment can do this for you. this helps align the tire to the wheel and can better prevent vibration (a cause of cupping) than counterweights alone. Equipment that can perform these task usually can also determine how severe the tire is out-of-round. You may have a bad tire, which sucks, but that's life. Your truck is relatively new, but you may want to have you ball joints and bushings inspected anyways. As these things fatigue and your suspension tolerances loosen and you may get shimmying while cornering or on roads with steeper crowns. Speaking from experience, When my truck's radius arm bushings began to fail, my alignment went to crap and I wasted 60 bucks realigning it. I had shimmying at 60+ MPH while going around bends on the interstate and as a result- tire cupping. You're suspension differs greatly than mine does ( I have a twin I-beam), but I just wanted to share that info with whomever may read this as the average Joe may not know it until it happens to him, like it did me.
