If the windows moves in one direction, but not the other, it is a sign of an electrical problem. The window motor is DC and run in reverse by a simple process of reversing the polarity to the motor. + becomes - and the motor runs in reverse. Checking the voltage at the motor connection with a multi-meter will shot + voltage when the motor moves and - voltage when the window moves in the other direction. It could be a bad electrical connection, a broken wire, etc. You will have to do some wire tracing to locate the problem.
