I have a 2004 5.4L F150 that I need a
transmission for, can a 2004 Ford Explorer
Tranny work in it?

Impossible if I'm not mistaken tranny's are completely different

The smartest way I believe to do this is swap it out with a vehicle that has the same 4X4 Ford drivetrain!

Have it rebuilt or get a used one. Explorer is different platform.
