2004 Ford f150 4x4 supercrew rear power window

Right rear window will not go all the way up. Goes down fine but stops about 1"short of going all the way up

Most window motors have thermal resistors on the motor. When the window reaches the full up position the motor will encounter resistance when it can no longer move, causing heat to be generated. It detects the heat quickly and shuts off the motor, then resets itself for the next up or down action. Remove the door panel and make sure there is no restriction in the lift mechanism causing he window to bind.
