Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an impala that is air locking every 2 weeks.
Changed thermostat, thought I was bad, changed it again!
Intake 5 months ago, water pump 2 months ago! Intake is

I agree with tennisshoes, a leaking head gasket can leak combustion gases into the cooling system causing an air lock and over-heating. This needs to be tested.
