OBD Inspection failed

I went to get the required omission test done and it failed.  the message error
was No mileage at key on engine off

The odometer reading on those trucks are known to go out. That sucks, I didn't know a state inspection required your mileage to show up. You'll need a new cluster. Sometimes you can bang on the dash above it and get it to work for a while
